I am writing my regular newsletter.
Praise God, state of health of my Valentina is fully stabilized. Thank you very much to all of you, who were praying for her, for our family and were supporting us!
My elder son Artem needs to have two examination – about possible gastritis and some easy surgery. Also, there is big debt for gas supply. As a family with many kids, we have a right for 50% discount for public utilities. But sometimes ago officials stopped to charge finances and I did not pay attention to it timely. Now for renewing a discount I have to pay a debt fully.
As I wrote before, because of pandemic, amount of orders seriously decreased. About 30% and sometimes 50% of my orders consisted of translation of documents for foreign citizens who were coming in Ukraine or Russia. Because now there are lot restrictions concerned with COVID, I have very few such orders.
I am trying to “switch over” to translation of Christian literature. I already had a few orders. But anyway, finding such orders is much harder and they are not regular, though usually have huge amount.
Sometimes I think about translating for casino or dating services. But because it means assistance with sin, deception and sometimes translation of texts about erotic, I do not dare to do this.
Financial state of our family is still hard – general debt of a family got a maximal value.
It consists of credit loan to bank and a debt for gas supply. Right now incomes from orders cover only 60-70% of necessary expenses. We don’t eat meat, talking about fruits, we mainly buy apples. This year because of weather conditions our apples brought no fruits. Me and my wife almost do not buy clothes for ourselves. Our children are growing, though part of clothes and shoes is bought for low prices, in “second hand” shops, anyway, from time to time we need buy new clothes and shoes for them.
My wife Valentina had a 2,5 week trip to her homecity Odessa. She went there with two kids – our youngest daughter Bogdana and elder son Artem. She could spent some time with her mother, go to sea beaches and have some rest…
New school year is coming… My older daughter Nadya will go 7th grade, our sons Artem and Kolya – in 5th and 2nd.
I really hope that before coming of cold weather I could solve issues with payment of debt for gas and getting sufficient number of orders…
